Home Instruction-1st Grade

Hello Parents and Guardians,

Since each student in the district has been placed on Home Instruction due to COVID-19, I will be posting the instruction and instructional activities here for each day that school is not physically in session. I will also be online and available by email at [email protected] from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday to answer any and all questions you may have.  Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns you have. Please send any building level questions to either our principal or vice principal(s).  We will all be here to support your children and our community during these difficult times.

Sincerely,

Miss Black

Good morning parent(s)/guardian(s),

Below is a link to the Comprehensive Grade 1 End of Year (EOY) for your child to complete this week for informational purposes only. The score will not be recorded as part of his/her grade. Your child should attempt to answer each question to the best of his/her ability. In order to take the EOY, your child will have to log into his/her Marlboro account. This login information may be found in the Genesis Parent Portal on the “Summary” tab under your child’s picture.

The results from the activity will immediately appear on the computer screen after your child submits his or her responses. MTPS strongly encourages students to utilize district digital tools in order to remediate skills/standards that were identified on the EOY. Click HERE for instructions to obtain EOY results on your child. This will provide you a way to assist your child over the summer months if you so choose.

Your child will be instructed by his/her teacher to complete the EOY by the end of the day on Friday, June 12. Thank you for supporting this home to school connection.

Sincerely,

Miss Black
