School Social Worker

My name is Karyn Tessler. I am currently the School Social Worker at Defino Central Elementary School. I have been a proud member of the Marlboro Township Public Schools since 2016. As the School Social Worker, I have the pleasure of supporting students' academic and social/emotional learning. Collaboration and communication is the key when working with parents, staff, and administration to ensure student success.
Welcome to the 2020-21 school year! I know this school year will be different than ones in the past but I am so happy to have most of our students back at Defino in a Hybrid Learning Model. I am available during regular school hours from 8:20 am to 3:10 pm, Monday through Friday, to answer questions or address any concerns you or your children may have.
