Hi! I'm Mrs. Brown. I originally started teaching at Defino in 1997 after receiving my Masters Degree in Elementary Education at Georgian Court College. I took a leave of absence to raise my three children for 6 years and returned again to teach first grade. I'm currrently in my 21st year of teaching. This year I am co-teaching again with Ms. Bruno. We make an awesome team and are so excited to be together once more!

   First grade brings many new challenges and opportunities. Even though this year will most likely look much different than in the past, I hope to make each child's learning experience a fun and exciting one that will last throughout their years of school.   I am looking forward to  helping each of my students achieve their full potential.
