- Our class goes to PE on Tuesday and Friday. Please dress your child appropriately, with appropriate footwear.
- Have your child bring his/her borrowed school library book in on Thursdays in order to borrow another book.
Take Home Folders
Please check your child’s take home folder every night and send back every morning. You will find important information and homework in this folder.
Snack
Please send your child in each day with a healthy, NUT-FREE snack and WATER.
Scholastic
Scholastic Orders will be sent home once a month. Please submit all orders online by the due date.

Kindergarten Math Units of Study
Students will become number fluent. They will be able to write numbers and count objects. Students will be able to compare different groups, add/ subtract, identify and describe shapes. They will also be able to describe and compare measurable attributes.
Envision Math/ ST Math
Students will bring home a math work mat from each lesson and homework to correspond with that lesson. They can access the Envision Math book and ST Math through their Clever App (Clever QR code in blue folder).
Reading Community
Students will learn to be active members of the reading community. They will learn to make connections, retell, visualize, and wondering within fiction texts. Students will learn to make connections, retell, visualize, and using text features within non- fiction texts.
Students will build strong phonics and decoding skills that they will build on throughout the school year.
Writing Community
Students will learn to be active members of the writing community. They will work on getting ideas, telling more, writing expository pieces, poetry and opinion writing.
