A little bit about myself...

    I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology/Elementary Education and my Master of Arts in Teaching.  In March of 2004, I began teaching the first grade here at Defino Central. I then took the opportunity to become part of Defino Central's looping program for several years. I have taught both first and second grade throughout my teaching career. This is now my 18th year teaching at Defino and although it is quite different, I know it will be fabulous!

This summer I really enjoyed swimming in my pool and spending time with my family. My two daughters, Kayla and Adriana had fun going for long bike rides and making me jump the waves in the ocean with them. My husband even taught me how to fish when we went to his sister's lake house. We are all ready to get back to school and see what this new year and adventure has in store for us!
