Welcome to Mrs. Siet's 2nd Grade Class!

I hope you find my web page useful and helpful. This site is a work in progress. I will be adding important information for students and parents and hopefully it will answer many questions throughout the year.

This is my 21st year teaching at Defino. I graduated from Rowan University in June of 2004 and immediately started my teaching career in Marlboro in October. I began teaching as a long term substitute in 3rd grade and had a wonderful experience. I taught 3rd grade for many years and was then given the opportunity to teach 2nd grade. I have been in 2nd grade ever since and enjoy watching the students who are eager and anxious to learn. 

I have twin boys who are 14, as well as a 7 year old. My twins especially love playing soccer and baseball. We spend most of our weekends on the sports fields where I am cheering them on. I am their #1 fan!
