Welcome to a new and exciting school year!

Our goal is to make each student learn in a caring and supportive environment.

Occupational therapy can be defined as an art and science, and it's my desire to

provide a warm, fun, comfortable and safe environment that creates positive outcomes for all my students.

A little bit about myself...

I earned my post-professional master's degree from Boston University. I hold a National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy and certifications in Pediatric Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) and in Assistive Technology (CAT).  I have extensive continuing education in sensory processing and brain-based learning.

This school year, I will be at Defino Central and Marlboro Elementary, in addition to completing district-wide evaluations.

I strive to keep current with therapeutic and educational trends and take special interest in those methods that demonstrate the effectiveness of interventions used in school-based practice. (Evidence-Based Practice)

School-based therapy is driven by the educational model which makes it different than therapy in clinics, hospitals, home care, or early intervention.
