Dear Families,

Welcome to 2nd grade! I am very excited for your child to be a part of our learning community. I have been blessed to be teaching at Defino for the past 22 years. I am thrilled to be Co-Teaching with Ms. Bruno this year!!

We hope to make your child’s learning experience a fun and exciting one, and we hope to instill a love of learning that will last throughout your child’s academic years.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year of discovery, exploration, investigation, and enjoyment! It is my goal to provide your child with encouragement & support. As well as to create an environment that is safe and nurturing, so they will always feel valued. Throughout the year, your child will be an author, an illustrator, a mathematician, a scientist, a historian, and much, much more.

I believe that a strong parent-teacher relationship is essential for achieving maximum school success.
