My name is Aisha Iftikhar, and I will be your child's Speech-Language Pathologist for the remainder of the school year. I would like to welcome you to what I hope will be a wonderful and productive year of speech/language services. Your child will be attending sessions during the week to improve their specific goals. It is crucial that these skills be reinforced throughout the day, both at school and at home in order to ensure that they establish and integrate what they have learned beyond the therapy room! 

Each child has a speech/language notebook that will be used for homework and other important information. Homework will be given occasionally to reinforce your child's speech and language skills. This will be a great way to communicate back and forth as well! I will also include a fun monthly calendar targeting speech/language skills!

Therapy: The amount and type of therapy is indicated in your child's Individualized Education Plan (IEP). The speech/language therapy program for your child is designed to address the goals agreed upon in the IEP.
