All About Me!
My name is Mrs. Grogan and I will be your child's English as a Second Language teacher. This is my 25th year in the Marlboro Township School District and I have had the pleasure of working in many of the wonderful schools in the district. I have been at the Early Learning Center since it opened and am thrilled to be working in such a positive learning environment. I have also worked in many other schools in the district. This year, I have the pleasure to also be teaching at Defino Central School. Marlboro is a wonderful place!
I am a graduate of Syracuse University and have a master's degree in ESL from Rutgers University. I have been married 22 years to my wonderful husband and I have 2 beautiful boys. My son Miles is a Freshman in college and Sean is in 10th Grade. I love reading, knitting, and spending time with my family!
A few years ago, my family adopted 2 black kittens, a brother and sister that Miles found on a walk around our neighborhood (along with 3 more sisters that went to other good homes)! Their names are Pee-wee and Dottie. They love watching the birds that visit our bird feeder, trying to catch the laser pointer dot, and snuggling! It is hard to get a picture of them because they are so dark! They came to live with us right before Halloween. Some people say black cats are bad luck but these 2 are practically perfect in every way!!
